Thigh Lift Procedure
Performed under general anesthesia the thigh lift requires an incision in the groin area and depending on the results desired an additional extension around to the back. Scars from this surgery can generally be hidden by swimsuits. For patients with a small to moderate amount of fat and skin on their inner thighs additional scars may be avoided.
Dr. Chung will tighten the tissues in the area to create a toned, smooth shape. Sutures are used to close the incision and a compression garment is worn so that swelling is minimized healing is aided.

Bruising, swelling, and soreness are common complaints, post-surgery. Depending on the scope of your surgery an overnight stay in the hospital may be necessary. Pain is managed through medication and anti-by Dr. Chung. The results of the surgery can be seen immediately and will improve more as your symptoms of swelling and bruising dissipate.
Most patients can return to normal activity within 2 weeks, however more strenuous physical activity should be possible at 4 to 6 weeks. Patients who maintain an active and healthy life can enjoy permanent results.
